Dinner at Chef's Gallery right before watching Interstellar. Hilarious vegan Megan moment which I won't retell but omfg could not hold in laughs.
Food: 7.0/10
Handmade wok fried noodles w/ chilli prawns and veges
- Tasted a lot more western than I thought it should have been
- Reminded me a lot of neapolitan sauce
- Kinda enjoyed it (lol)
Salt and pepper calamari w/ sweet chilli mayo and Chinese salad
- Yummmmm
- Definitely comparable to all the other salt and pepper dishes I've previously had
- Calamari was cooked just right, made it very enjoyable to eat as if it had been overcooked it would've been a pain to chew
- Not much sauce was given, a little more would have been nice
Fluffy chinese roti filled with cheese & mushrooms
- Not a particularly healthy nor typical chinese dish but definitely one that would please Western palettes
- Would have been better if it wasn't so oily, more enjoyable
- Nonetheless it was quite nice
Value: 6.5/10
- ~$60
- Still a bit on the pricey side, however it is kinda to be expected now
Service: 6.5/10
- Decent waiting time
- Pretty good service, nothing outstanding though
Ambience: 8.0/10
- As like the previous Chef's gallery, they've really built up a good and semi-authentic setting
- Dim lighting and solid wood tables and chairs
- Wasn't overly crowded
Overall: 7.0/10
Other Comments:
